We must admit that before seeing Mayer Hawthorne’s new video for ”Green Eyed Love“ we had been naive enough to think it was a love song for a beautiful ... well ... green eyed girl! Perhaps Scarlett Johansson? Lindsay Lohan? Rihanna? Charlize Theron?
Nope! Mayer is swooning over his absinthe fix ... and now we have all sorts of doubts about our favorite Van Morrison karaoke tune.
