Get your dancin’ shoes ready because recent Brooklyn transplants Mark & Craig of VHS or BETA are starting a weekly party along with BK natives Kids With Snakes and Gavin Royce! Hot Pursuit kicks off at Williamsburg’s newest venue, The Woods.
If you haven’t already checked it out, The Woods It an old garage/industrial space on S4th and Wythe with a huge back patio that has recently been turned into a rad new bar and event space! It even has a full time taco cart with delicious food.
In addition to the great tunes and fun times the drinks are extremely cheap....$3 dollar keg beers and $3 “working mans cans” as well as other cheap beer and shot combos. The liquor drinks are very reasonably priced if you like your top shelf stuff.
P.S. Gavin thought you should know that the tacos are $3 and burritos are $6, and they also do burgers!

For my pre party jams (for the always wonderful Nicky Digital), I decided to take the opportunity to introduce you to Michael & Mattis.Michael & Mattis is my new alias I’m doing with my good friend Mattis With from Norway. This is a project where we look to explore the more experimental and deep side of house music.
This is NOT a Michael & Mattis mix but more of a little taste of what this new project is all about. We have a new EP that is near completion and some other things in the works that I am very excited about, including the never before heard rough mix of ”It Will Make Sense“ featured on this mix. The song has a little ways to go before it is done, but thought it would work well on this and a nice teaser for what is to come from Michael & Mattis. Hope you enjoy it.

We’ll be straight with you: we probably couldn’t tell you exactly what was going on in Danish electro-musician Trentemøller‘s new video for ”... Even Though You’re With Another Girl“, even if you paid us a good sum of money.
What we can say is that it involves a tense family get-together, potentially an adulterer, and maybe some hallucinogens (that can’t just be water vapor coming out of that iron, but we won’t get into that right now...).
But if there’s one thing to take away from this clip, it’s this: Ladies, sometimes, you just gotta let it go. He’s just not that into you…
