Streetlab is back with another great remix! This time of the Boston based band Passion Pit .

We really liked the flow and sounds of the original song. So we naturally didn’t approach it to decontruct or rearrange. We tried to slam the beat and pump the bass up a bit more for energy. In addition to having the vocal tracks, we actually sampled a lot from the original song ... some phasing work to remove the vocals and get an instrumental ... mainly for that high-frequency jingly sound that’s throughout the whole original song. It really adds an atmosphere and character to the song that we didn’t want to lose. Overall, this is one of those songs that makes me want to jump around and cry with joy! So we wanted to take that and push the dancing aspect some more.
